As I spend this weekend preparing photos for a new page on my site,
here is a brain teaser.
Of routes on the original 1921 Missouri highway system, and carrying
the same designation today, which MO state route has been truncated
the most both in distance and frequency?
It's not MO 15...maybe in distance, but MO 15 was truncated only once
with the commissioning of US 54, and later extended with the opening
of the Mexico bypass.
Regarding the route in question, I have driven the entire historic
length (not all at once). One town along its original route still
indicates it on the street signs.
BTW...if you cheat by looking at my recently-added historic route
page, at least 'fess up to it...I might commend you for doing your
homework. :^)
The answer will be revealed when the new page(s) for the route is/are
ready.

Taking a shot in the dark here...is it MO 1?
