In working on updated my Kansas Highways page, I found an interesting
piece of trivia. Highways 52, 57, 92, 96, 126, and 171 have, at one
time or another, ended on the Missouri State line and continued east
as the corresponding Missouri highway number. I have found one more
highway to add to that list. Before I reveal it, I'm going to see if
anyone here can guess.
Why it's 66, of course.
Easy, wasn't it? :^)
Related to this topic, there is only one current Kansas route that
actually changes numbers at the Missouri state line. Hint: I have
schotz of it on my site.
K-68 hits the line and plows on eastward as Missouri 2, and I've crossed
both of them: US 169 in Kansas, US 71 in Missouri.

Exactly. This page shows confirming photos.

Back in the mid 90's I lived in KC and worked at a furnace
manufacturer in Osawatomie. I used K-68/MO 2 as a shortcut in order
to avoid the Grandview Triangle. What's uncommon in the portion of
K-68 between Louisburg and the state line is that it is a 55-mph
posted stretch sandwiched between a 65-mph posted stretch (west of US
69) and one posted 60. The 55 is likely because it resembles most MO
state routes with the nasty asphalt surface and no shoulder.
