Except for first class mail, they are direct competitors.
I'll still take the post office over UPS for my mail, thank you very
much.
Which is great. But why should everyone be FORCED to use them for first class mail, when there are other companies that would love to compete?
The only time I use USPS is when I don't much care if, when or in what condition it gets there.
If I care, I send it FedEX, DHL, or UPS.
