Is it false information or is it a perspective that is fringe? Do they
have any kind of verifiable information to support their position?
No, they are not expressing a fringe opinion.
They report blatantly false information that is significant. In this
context, NJ has one of the lowest gasoline taxes in the country, yet
they said otherwise. They previously claimed false significant facts
about the auto insurance situation. In both cases they need only look
across the borders to PA or NY.
They offer no verifable information to support their position. They
keep screaming "NJ taxpayers keep getting screwed!" or "Do NJ drivers
DESERVE to pay these rates!"
As mentioned, this station demanded longer prison sentences and that
has been done. But keeping offenders locked up longer costs more
money which must be raised through taxes. So it is contradictory for
this station to demand lower taxes while demanding more services. (In
addition, the station railed against the inmates doing work to pay for
their upkeep).
As mentioned, it is hard to lose a libel suit against a public figure,
but they were so reckless with the facts and malicious that they did
lose.
Obviously, I don't know I've never heard the station. But for all the
comments made about infringement of rights made by the Bush
administration one has to be very careful about these kinds of situations.
I'm not sure what you mean or what the Bush administration has to do
with any of this. I mention it here because they were bitching about
road taxes.
Misunderstood. Sorry.
Take care,
Rich
