New: Exit numbers on MD-32

This just in...
The limited-access section of Maryland Route 32 now has exit numbers.
The exits are numbered from MD-32's eastern terminus at I-97. Many,
but not all, of the existing signs have been retrofitted with
traditional exit number tabs on the top right (if they don't take up
the whole top side). Those signs so tabbed are modified elsewhere,
i.e. replacing the classic "EXIT 1 MILE" with merely "1 MILE", center
justified.
Exit numbers I've observed thus far:
3 - Burns Crossing Rd.
5 - Telegraph Rd (MD-170)
6 - MD-175
8 - MD-198/Ft. Meade
10A/B - B/W Parkway
11 - Dorsey Run Rd.
I did not notice an exit number for MD-3/I-97NB. This can lead to
confusion, since Exit 3 is close by. Nor did I spot one for US-1, but
it does make me wonder: on 32EB, there's an overhead sign for US-1
that was an experimental "backlit" (Plexiglas?) sign; would they
attach an exit tab to THAT? There were no exit numbers posted for
Canine Rd. or the "Employees Only" entrance to the base.
My best guess for why they're adding exit numbers is because so many
people use electronic mapping tools, like GPS or Mapquest, and exit
numbers are unambiguous. I also wondered if this was a windup to an
Interstate (x97) designation, but there are some substandard ramps,
and bicycles are allowed on the shoulder between Exits 6 and 8.
