- Drove the Cherokee Turnpike in NE OK today, noticed that in each
direction the fast lane was paved with concrete with a reddish color,
while the slow lane was a greyish color... totally different hues.

Where the "Y25" was obviously greenout of something else. The whole "Y"
thing seemed pretty cryptic to me... What gives?


There is a spur on the turnpike that runs to US 177 at Stillwater. The "25"
you saw was 25 miles to the "Stillwater Y", or the spur that splits off. So
it's not Stillwater "Y25", but "Stillwater Y" 25 ;)
