CA only allowed something like 10,000 hybrid SOVs to use the carpool
lanes. That's a reasonable compromise, IMHO.
Not really, and it kind of goes to show that Californians don't really
comprehend the words "high occupancy vehicle," even at CalTrans.
My main objection to letting PriuSloths use the carpool lane is that
the assholes drive so goddamn SLOWLY they make the carpool lane nearly
useless.
Dude, you live in a state where the average urban freeway traffic
speed is 14 MPH. You should be happy bicycles on the shoulder aren't
passing traffic in the HOV lane.
