newsgroup company advice

I'm after a cheap newsgroup service with discussions that go back as
far as possible. I'm not sure how much data I would need a month (I'd
like to download all of this thread and then just catch up with it).
Can anyone suggest anything? I know google is good for archives, but
ugh to use...
