What planet do you live on? are we taxed as much as european
countries? No, they are SEVERLY overtaxed. I should end the
conversation here.
#2 There is a whole economics lesson behind the reasons why we should
not lean on the Wal-Marts & Targets to pay for all this, this is not
the time or place. (For the record I hate Wal-Mart)
Doesn't matter whether you love them or hate them, and as you know I
could care less about economics, they are getting the benefite, they
should pay.
Well that's convenient for you I guess, but it still matters.
#3 Maybe will have more unfortunate incidents like I-35W pop up around
the country, I certainly hope not but if we do, people need to be held
accountable
It is fine to hold people accoutable, but if a bridge needs to be
replaced and there is no money, I guess then it should be closed,
right? That is going to go over real well.
Why not just raise the taxes, have a responsible structure replacement
program, and be done with it.
I guess that is too much to ask, huh?
Yes it is!
I hope we are like western Europe in 10 years. I hope no longer
people will lose their homes and businesses to the Doctors and nursing
homes, that everyone can afford health ins and hosp are not going
bankrupt.
I admit we have problems here but that is just a sick statement.
You mean the wealthy don't pay significant taxes? try close to 50%!
I hope we have cheap and efficient high speed rail for trips 300-500
miles rather then the horribly operated and bankrupt airlines.
I hope we have a system of taxation where the wealthy pay a
significant percentage, rather then pay to get tax breaks, so that the
poor and middle class have to carry this govt and this stupid war and
increasingly on borrowed money.
that's not enough for you? then go move to Europe if you don't like
it. These loopholes you speak of are only temporary, the money gets
taxed eventually, there are no free, legal rides from the Taxman no
matter what you think.
Randy, you are either so rich that it doesn't matter or you are "just
getting by" and resent anyone who's got a dime more than you. Either
way you have strange distored view of things, in my opinion.
You are entitled to have your opinions, I choose not to spar on this
matter anymore because it's just not worth it.
