Here is why I think Kozel is a buffoon.

The dictionary definition of "buffoon" is a "foolish person". That is a
massive dose of projection on Randy's part, and many other people here
agree. His posts make him look extremely foolish.

His extremely conservative politics, very nonsensical.

No more conservative than about half of the U.S. population, and likely
far closer to the center than Randy's, based on his posting history.

His belief
that he is right and everyone else is wrong, that he is above debate
or criticism. No one dare argue with him. His belief that he runs
MTR, that he owns it, because he has been here so very long.

That is a massive dose of projection on Randy's part.

I have beliefs that have formed over 30+ years of study of the subject
material, and I do tend to view them as correct, and my beliefs tend to
be reasonable mainstream positions. I am far, FAR more accepting of
differing opinions that is Randy.

PPTA's as the future of highway financing. As I have said they are
collapsing of their own weight because the private end is demanding
way too much money from the public end.

A misrepresentation of my views. Public-private partnerships have been
successful on the Dulles Greenway and the Route 895 Pocahontas Parkway,
and are appropriate in certain selected cases. They are one tool of
many for funding highway projects. The Parallel Midtown Tunnel project
in Norfolk will likely be a tolled PPTA project, and several proposals
are being evaluated now.

I feel that involving the
private interests in road building causes them to consider their
bottom dollar first before anything else, including capacity and
safety considerations.

A nonsense statement. Over $60 billion per year in highway construction
and design is contracted out to... private companies. Private interests
are already highly involved in road building.

I have a substantial amount of disagreement with the posts of Jack May
and George Conklin.

I suspect that if Randy took my above suggestion, that he would be able
to think clearly enough to see how flawed and incorrect are many of his
own opinions.

Also his unbridled supposrt of the stat twisting and lying of the
Reason Foundation and Heritage Foundation, two extremely conservative
and probelatic organizations.

A major misrepresentation of my views. I have not used Heritage
Foundation materials, and I occasionally have used Reason Foundation
materials, but with no particular "support" for their work other than
someone who has an opinion.

Summing up, I really think Kozel is a closet nazi, or at leaat
sympathizes with some the attitudes of the National Socialists of
Germany of the 30's.

Really. Randy has said on other newsgroups that he intends to keep
pounding Jack May and George Conklin with direct abuse and profanity
until they "shut up".

Randy's stated position there is that of a doctrinaire fascist who will
use direct force to silence differing opinions.

Again, pot meet kettle. Everything he posted was spewage.



How can Usenet be "force"??? I suggest that even the best posters in
Usenet, which includes Scott, seem to attract people whose only interest is
abuse.
