Our States are lying to us. Driving is not a privilege. DrivingAh, I see you're back.
is a Right. Our public streets were built on our property with our
money for the purpose of enhancing our Right of Liberty. But, the
more our public highways are made unusable by anything but the
automobile, the more this LIE that driving is a privilege makes us
all prisoners of privilege behind bars of blacktop.
I've read his repeated post and I can't figure out what he wants to
happen.
Reading the paragraph above I would conclude that he wants to
'safely drive' something other than an 'automobile' on something
other than 'blacktop'? Does he want to do away with drivers
licenses or ride bicycles on the 'public highways'?
If you're going to tell me that he wants to disrupt USENET (or even
MTR), don't bother. I honestly don't care about either side of any
flame wars. I'm just curious about the payoff.
Thanks,
Ralph
'proffsl' has a sordid history here. He showed up about a year and a
half ago with his 'right to drive' stuff and nothing to back it up.
He disappeared fairly quickly when he got his ass handed to him on a
platter. He came back last summer and went back and forth with us for
about 5 months with some new source material and, although he never
recognized it officially, got his ass handed to him on a platter
again. He's popped up again now trying something different.
One of his tactics is to word things in such a way that it is very
difficult to actually figure out what he is trying to say (and often
to word things so that it sounds like he is saying the exact opposite
of what he is actually saying). He uses strawmen and ad hominems a
lot. If you respond to him, read his stuff very carefully, make sure
to read and understand any source material that he provides, read what
others say to him before making your own response (they often find
things that you may not), and don't call him names or direct him to do
anything (although he is quite willing to direct you to do
everything). He gets very abusive when he finally runs out of
options. If your not up on your constiturional law, I wouldn't bother
to answer at all.
