What to see

I'm heading down to Hattiesburg in a week... anything to see along the way?
Tentative route is I-40--I-30--I-530(US65)--I-20--US49. Are there any old
bridges in Hattiesburg worth looking for?
Weather permitting, I may return via Baton Rouge and try to locate the
original alignment of US 71.
