Yesterday, I spotted numerous stations ranging from $2.09 to $1.99. The
least expensive was Louisville, Kentucky, and the most expensive was in
Lexington. It progressively became cheaper as I headed westward. My
parents in Ashland, two hours east of Lexington, have gas prices in the
$2.09 (w/ the 'discount' if you pay with cash)-$2.15 range.
What is your range?
Around my neighborhood in Baton Rouge...
South of LSU's campus prices were still $2.20-$2.25 for 87 octane.
North of LSU's campus prices were $2.15 for 87 octane with a Mobil
station, along Perkins between Acadian & College, going $2.05.
Denham Springs (bedroom suburb, next parish east of Baton Rouge along
I-12/US190) stays about a dime cheaper than BR proper, though I haven't
been out that way since I returned to Baton Rouge two Thursdays ago.
