Rest assured, Omaha will get all those subdivisions in between, in due
course. The big priority is to sew up all that commercial frontage on
the West Dodge Expressway first. Within 10-15 years, every square mile
of land east of 204th from Fort Street to the Sarpy County line will
have subdivisions on it.

I know that that 'county line' thing in Nebraska's annexation law is a fairly recent thing. Has there been any more recent discussion of modifying or repealing it?
