I was on US 276 from Brevard to Waynesville (twice as far from Brevard
as the Blue Ridge Parkway in my estimation), and it was pretty curvy
all the way. The curviest part IMHO is through Pisgah National Forest;
there are parking spaces along the road, and in tourist season watch
out for pedestrians!!! Allow yourself an hour between Brevard and
Waynesville.
