The breathalyser mentioned in the article seems to have promise, as its
application may help save lives out there. Hopefully this system can adjust
dynamically to the blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) threshold for the given
region. Otherwise, there may be a driver who just consumed 12 ounces of
Coors Light and is then unable to start his or her vehicle. Some regions of
the world have a 0.0% threshold for BAC.
