Don't vote - it only encourages them.

There are many good reasons not to vote. This election season it's
appropriate to review them. Here is just one, and not by any means
the most compelling:

"Authority" is the right to give and enforce commands. This right
cannot exist. As this magic power cannot belong to any individual or
group, it cannot belong to whatever majority of sheep vote for
something. I cannot have an obligation to obey a command simply
because a whole lot of jackasses are making the command. The ‘laws’
created by a true democracy (ignoring the practical impossibilities of
such a system) would hold no more inherent righteousness than any
other form of ‘authority.’ It would still be impossible for me to
disable my own judgment in favor of the majority ‘law,’ and would
still be anti-human and insane for me to try.

You do not elect anyone in a democracy. If the majority wants the
politicians to kick your ass, your ass will be kicked, and your one
vote matters jack squat. Ain’t democracy wonderful?

You do not institute any rules that restrict politicians, and neither
does the majority. You politely ask the politician-gods to control
themselves. They don’t. You lose. Tough.

Politicians are not your servants. They are your masters. They write
the ‘laws.’ You don’t. They use force against you to gain your
compliance, not the other way around. You think you have an
obligation to obey their ‘laws.’ They agree. This ‘servants of the
people’ and ‘public servant’ rhetoric is pure bunk. They aren’t there
to serve you. They control you and rob you. And you can feel proud
in that voting booth when you give them your sanction to do it.
