What a blatant contradiction. The essential meaning of
"government" is control over the population by a small group of
ordinary, fallible, mortal men by the use of force. How you

While I'm sure that you feel that way, I'm just as sure, that
you're wrong. Some forms of government can fit your
definition, but very many other forms of government, including
that which exists in the USA, do not.
The meaning of "government" that includes "control over the
population by a small group of ordinary, fallible, mortal men by
the use of force" doesn't fit ANYTHING, because no person or
group can control the entire population. That's why there's no
such thing.
Well, there are, and have been governments who control entire
populations, but I'm glad that we agree that the government of the
USA isn't one of them.
But the more important question is with what would you replace
government?
First, if you're talking about self-government, I'm all for it.
I would not change that.
Second, if you're talking about "government" as the ATTEMPT to
"control the population with a small group of ordinary, fallible,
mortal men by the use of force," I wouldn't replace it with
anything. Such an attempt is evil, and if I could do away with
evil, I wouldn't wait until I could replace it. It's like
asking, "What would you replace rape with if you are so against
it?"
I'm sure you feel that's true. It's all part of who you are.
The very system which you advocate, which is that
individual people should be free to make whatever choices they
wish to make . . .
. . which are supposedly the ideals of the so-called "founding
fathers," by the way . . .
And it remains true to this day.
. . .has proven that people will choose to coalesce into what
will begin as small groups, and then larger and large groups,
and that in order to be effective, those groups will
voluntarily make up certain rules of behavior which are to
apply to all of the members of the group.
You just described religion.
I'm sure you feel that way, but that doesn't make it true.
Religion is voluntary. You can
quit a religious cult with impunity. As long as they keep their
lunatic beliefs to themselves, Christians, Muslims, and other
god-believers are no threat to others.
I, and all of the members of my alliance, voluntarily belong to the
society known as the USA.
You can continue to be a little child and claim that it should
not be that way, but it is that way. Moreover, belonging to
very many of these groups is voluntary, and so I've got to
wonder why you'd decry your participation in a system that you
are free not to join.
I just explained how I don't stand in the way of other people
joining cults as long as they don't use force to impose their
beliefs on others..
And you apparently don't stand in the way of that either.
The only reason that you've ever stated is that you want all of
the benefits which are provided by the rules of that system,
What "system"? You aren't talking about a religious cult, now.
You've apparently switched to talking about the state, a gang of
lawyers, armed thugs, and con artists operating a protection
racket financed by extortion.
I'm sure you feel that way just because you can't have what doesn't
belong to you.
including the right to live on it's land,
So you believe a gang of lawyers, armed thugs, and con artists
own all the land, eh?
I know that my alliance does. Prove otherwise.
and participate in its commercial infrastructure,
The free market doesn't belong to a gang of lawyers, thugs, and
con artists.
Prove otherwise.
but that you simply hate having to pay your fair
share of the costs for doing so.
I pay my bills on time, every one of them, and I'm happy to do
so. If some company displeases me, I stop paying and refuse its
services. You're hallucinating about my personal life and
calling it an "argument."
Do you pay what my alliance says is your fair share of its cost?
If that's not the case, I find it interesting that you'd keep
your reasons for continuing to participate in this alliance a
secret.
What alliance? You and your hamster and goldfish? You're on
drugs, Kid - Get help.
I'm sure you feel that way, even though, if you were as convinced of
your convictions as you say, you'd be willing to state whether or
not you live within the borders of the USA.
