This the the basis for the belief in govt:
"Why are governments instituted at all? Because the passions of men
will not conform to the dictates of reason and justice without
constraint." -Alexander Hamilton
With what exactly do you disagree?
That you SHOULD put guns, tanks, and nuclear weapons in the hands of
those men whose passions won't conform to the dictates of reason and
justice without constraint.
I disagree WITH YOU that YOU SHOULD put guns, tanks, and nuclear
weapons in the hands of those men whose passions won't conform to the
dictates of reason and justice - and tell them to rob your neighbors
and order us around on their whims.
I disagree that YOU SHOULD believe in blind obedience to a cult of men
whose passions won't conform to the dictates of reason and justice.
Now at least you're honest about what you believe (unlike the other
state-worshippers on this forum), i.e., that might makes right, and
therefore whatever those men, WHOSE PASSIONS WON'T CONFORM TO THE
DICTATES OF REASON AND JUSTICE, say SHOULD determine right from wrong
for YOU - as stupid as that is on its face, you have the right to
believe it. I DISAGREE that you have the RIGHT to impose that
bull*** on the rest of us. I disagree that just because your
freakin' cult has POWER that you SHOULD shove your lunatic beliefs
down our throats at gunpoint.
Clear enough?
