Looking For SOMEONE who make a living trading

Sorry this isn't directly about taxes but I figured this would be a decent place to find people who might know someone doing what I want to do.

I recently sold my business and am retired. I have no hobbies (other than growing a few tomato plants) and limited interests beyond finance. My healthy retirement stash has done well thru the last 10 years of market turmoil by being 60/40 index funds that I don't fool with too much. Even thru the tech wreck and the latest real estate crash my stuff has averaged 7% per annum for the 10 year period.

In contrast to that success, I want to TRADE as a full time or part time job. I have plenty of capital (I can trade against my large buy-and-hold 60/40 index fund ETF portfolio). My brother, who is an excellent businessman, good investor and great game player (poker, blackjack, sports betting etc) says that I am dangerously mixing the need to battle boredom with the (in)ability to trade. He's probably right.

His main point is that neither of us can point to anyone we personally know who is doing this...or even find someone WHO KNOWS SOMEONE doing it.

How do I find someone who is profitably trading for a living who would be a mentor? I don't expect to be like the Wall Street big bucks guys who know the inside system. But there HAS to be someone out there making $100,000 or $200,000 per year trading (using a multi-million dollar portfolio as collateral to trade against).
