Income tax Filing requirement on small Estates

If a small estate of under 200k comes into existance after a person dies and
the estate has no income during the yearly
reporting period except about $4000 of furniture and personal items on
which there is no capital gain, is sold to pay ongoing expenses,
does an estate income tax return Form 1041 have to be filed anyway since
the items sold during that reporting period
amounted to more than $600? or would that not be considered gross income?
