Try the Advocate. The number's in the 1040 instructions.

Probably telling you what you've already realized, but you need to take some
time with your return. They print those cautions on the back of the mailing
envelope for a reason. The system really works well when everything is in
order, but as you've seen, a mess has a tendency to get messier.
