1099b--Where do I explain discrepancy??

Say my Sched D had $5000. in proceeds.

But my 1099 B states $10000. due to a $5000 short sale that occured in 2005
(and was covered in 2006).

I use Turbo Tax and I want to file electronically. Where do I explain the
$5000. discrepancy.?
