Quite a mixed-up imagination you have there. Go outside and take
another whiff of that Fresh Air. It might help clear your head, or
kill you...depending on which way the wind is blowing today.

His end of the valley *is* more polluted than mine. :o)

Yes I know that quite well, as he lives in an Oil Processing area,
which HAS to be a Superfund Waste Dump by -now-. Not too much
different =here=. I won't even let my pets drink the crud that comes
out of my drinking faucet, AND, the last report I got from my Village
on the results of a State-mandated water test said we FAILED.

Actually..Its California..and the standards are MUCH higher here. With
the wind blowing south (the valley runs north and south..about 400 miles
long) we get a bit more pollution than at other times, but its still
lower than most states "normal" values.

And the tap water here is quite tastey and passes with flying colors all
environmental tests.

Afterall...this IS a Red county.

"Lenin called them "useful idiots," those people living in
liberal democracies who by giving moral and material support
to a totalitarian ideology in effect were braiding the rope that
would hang them. Why people who enjoyed freedom and prosperity worked
passionately to destroy both is a fascinating question, one still with us
today. Now the useful idiots can be found in the chorus of appeasement,
reflexive anti-Americanism, and sentimental idealism trying to inhibit
the necessary responses to another freedom-hating ideology, radical Islam"
