So what you ask? Firstly, It means that you are the lying sock puppet who trolls and posts off-topic messages about your savior Obama in a survival group. It matters not who agrees or disagrees, your postings are trolls and off-topic. You can just as easily get people to agree or disagree with you if you made the same postings to alt.fucknozzles or your other kook groups.

Off topic? This NG went mainly political ages ago. I can't seem to recall any on-topic threads you started, or any survival related posts of yours, either. If there are some, which is certainly possible, I'd bet they'd be heavily outnumbered by your political posts.

As for Obama posts, most seem to be started off as anti-Obama posts from the usual suspects, followed by pro-Obama posts from the other set of usual suspects, quickly degenerating thereafter into essentially content-free, dull, repetitive and pointless exchanges of personal insults (mostly not even witty or stinging) or ridiculously partisan claims (all X's are liars! Only Y's can be that stupid! The Z's ruined Christmas! President A was perfect, and President B is a crook!).

This NG has become seriously short of people capable of sustaining a civil discussion, or at least an entertaining bashing, for any length of time. The general level of subject matter knowledge has declined, too. So many posters here simply lack the basic foundational knowledge for a good debate. Not that it stops them. Moreover, the seriously ignorant, but nonetheless strident and wholly partisan posters here, across the spectrum, tend to drown everyone else out.

You do know how to use your kill filter, right? My suggestion is to please do so (everybody). I do. There's no need to keep responding to, i.e., feeding the trolls, if that's what they are.

If most posters simply stopped replying whenever a thread degenerated to nothing more than screaming hysterics and personal invective, and applied their kill filters as their best possible response to that sort of thing, we could breathe new life into this NG.
