Obviously we need to outfit every nursing home resident with an
assault rifle to prevent this from happening again.

Will the NRA step forward and take a lead in keeping nursing homes
safe?

Takes a very sick mind to crow about such a tragedy...

-------------------------------------------

Takes a pretty sick mind to support gun control. Criminals are opportunists,
and what better opportunity than an unarmed public.

True.
Makes one suspect the gun control supporters have ulterior motives...

Yeh.  This isn't the work of "Gun Nuts."  Not even close.  Something
else entirely is going on here.

And how would you know Cheezy?

Draw a Venn Diagram.  In one circle put in all the "gun control
supporters."  In a different circle put in the "Gun Nuts"

Ah!  Trilateration.  You just might know something of GPS after all.

Just using 4th frade math so TMT might be able to visualize the
inaccuracy of his assertion.

I'm afraid you're wasting your time. TMT is unthinking.

V.D.s typically use circles, I'd wager
Trilateration involves triangles.  Alas, all I know about GPS is how
to use them and they triangulate (or better) from geosynchronus sats.

Imagine a circle where the circle passes through the NAVSTAR GPS
satellite and through the GPS receiver in your hands or your vehicle.
Imagine another circle passing through the next satellite and your GPS
receiver. And another and another and another...

Where those circles intersect is your calculated position.

Trilateration is done with circles, not triangles or triangulation.

Thanks for the elucidation.

Where do those circles intersect?

TMT's x,y,z coordinates in WGS84?

No idea what you're talking about.  If I had to guess, I'd guess "null
set" Howcliose was that?

Hi! Yeh, TMT resides in the null set. Too funny.

WGS84 (World Grid System 1984) is the native geographic (non-
projected) datum that the GPS system uses. You probably recall the
MGRS or Military Gridded Reference System used for locating LZs and
artillery targeting. That is merely another datum and projection that
you can set in your GPS.

I have skills. You have skills. Why don't you and me use this forum
more usefully than bitching about Bush/Obama/TMT?

Set a good example, & I'll likely respond in kind.
