Re: Gas prices rises 10 cents a gallon over 2 weeks

[Default] I missed the Staff Meeting but the Minutes record that

My personal opinion..and evidently Johns..is that we have only seen
the first part of the slide to the bottom on the housing bubble
emplosion and the pending cratering of the financial market as all
those fucked up deals, sub prime loans sold to brokers and so forth
all come home to roost.

I'm in the PAcNor West, it will be a couple years before that
arrives here.

Im tucking away a little nest egg for the time when everything goes
Blumph! and I can get a bigger chunk of land and a nicer house for
pocket change. If Im wrong..Ill still have that nifty nest egg to
weather me through the Blumph!

That's a plan. I keep in mind that it is a risk when you can
fall back to Plan B. It is a gamble when failure is not an option and
there is no Plan B.

I cannot..cannot speak for your area. In mine..the elevator is still
on the way down and has a long way to go yet. And the brokers and
sellers are going to be desperate, not to mention the financial
institutions in a world of ***. When GM stock is down below $10 a
share....and falling...we havent started to stabilize.

Use your head, not your heart. Shrug

John is a pretty smart guy in some things, machining,
economics..shrug...ask for the details as to what HE would do in your
shoes. Just dont bother asking him about politics..he is
clueless...<G>

I keep in mind that in many transactions, there are two people who
know they are doing the smart thing.

If I could have my way, I'd win the lottery, and pay cash. Or
have the market resurge in a couple years, and flip this for something
'better'. "If I could have my way..." I keep in mind that I also
pray "Not my way, but thine" on a regular basis.

The two oldest cliches in the book are "The Good Old Days were
better." and "After all, these are Modern TImes."
