Since Bush took office, oil has more than doubled and gas more than
tripled. I'm so glad we attacked Iraq. If we didn't have that war
for cheap gas, can you image what it would be costing? And of course,
all this cheap gas is a very good thing for the economy. That's why
it's in such fine shape. Bush has done it again.

Look at it this way.
As oil gets increasingly expensive it gets easier and easier for the US to
trade off oil for all of the T-Bills we've been selling.
The Chinese will end up with ANWAR.
