Here's an interesting web page:http://www.garynorth.com/public/department79.cfm
As of 5/3/08, the U.S. national debt is increasing at the
rate of about $1,250,000 per minute, $75,000,000 per hour,
$1,800,000,000 per day.
I suppose someone can gin up an explanation of why this is
not a Really Bad Thing (RBT), but I would be a bit skeptical
of the story.

Welp, I just contributed by filling my gas tank (BP) at $3.56/gallon
and buying a Sony 32" LCD TV.
Where are your loyalties Cheezy?
Curtis Mathes was the last "manufacturer" of USA televisions. They
are long gone.
Here you are spending your money on yourself when you could be doing
your Republican duty and pay off the debt that your idol has run up.
Actually, it is refreshing to have been without television for about 3
weeks, without the Discovery channel or the National Geographic
channel telling me I am going to die from warming, cooling, sea level
rise, super volcanos, asteroid and comet impacts, nuclear blast,
nuclear winter, virus, bacteria, shark attack, sting ray attack,
gorilla attack, or wild fires. Ummmm, forgot africanized honey bees..
And I have no idol.- Hide quoted text -

Then you should really stay away from the television during the
November elections.
Get real. If you listen to all that clap-trap, you are being
"played."
You will be able to tell how it turned out by walking outside and
watching all the Republicans jumping from their condos.
