IMO, if the USA really cared about border integrity, there would be a
1 to 10 mile frontier of exclusive Federal jurisdiction on the
US<=>Mexico border.
This might require a Constitutional amendment though.
Why? Just take the Rio Grande and the dirt ten miles south of it. You
won't encroach into the territory of any US state...problem solved. ;)

Thanks for the RM for the response.
Some of the guys recognize me and wave me through, but most of them stop me
every time. Its more of a slap to my personal dignity than anything,
although I was once kept waiting in line for over 15 minutes due to heavy
traffic.
