What are we looking at as a realistic scenario as an average person
would face it on the ground?

Does anyone truly consider a scenario with massive riots?

Is a Human Wave attack on every WalMart a realistic scenario?

Will your neighbors be eyeing your sons & daughters and considering
exactly how long it would take to thoroughly cook them on a rotisserie
over the open firepit in the back yard?

Perhaps, with the price of gas being what it is, we're looking at a
Mad Max scenario with civilizations centering around  petroleum
facilities and with gallons of gasoline being the next form of
currency.

While it may sound like I'm being facetious, I'm truly curious to see
exactly what others think will happen if a recession and/or depression
comes to pass?

No "Mad Myal" scenario.

There will be increased business at the unemployment office and the
shelters. The rest of us will pay more or pay more for less. We'll
have to suffer with only two televisions instead of three. Business
will be brisk at the prisons as petty crime increases. More murderers
and sex offenders will be released early to make room for
shoplifters. Some Mexicans will head south as we no longer want lawn
work every week, only every other week. McCain will encourage them to
come back, and Pelosi will introduce bill after bill to raise taxes on
everyone except Starkist. Will McCain sign them? Yes.

So, you've shifted from "Obama will be president" to "McCain will be
president"?
