The context in which I saw this appeared to be factual;
where has the Burchett/Matsushige anecdote proven to be fictional?
(I know that no human being has experienced EMP first-hand, except as
flickering lights in Honolulu. So whatever this "Atomic Plague" thing
is, it is not first-hand experience.)
Ground-level EMP does not happen. It just doesn't.
