this is just one more drop in the ol' gravity bucket. Accretion rates
for the entire surface of our planet are about 1 inch per 10,000 years,
IIRC, and that's a lot of stuff. No sweat.
True, unless it happens to fall on your head or in
your neighborhood.
Or if it happens to have a noo-cu-ler power generator onboard.
Like that Russian satellite that fell on Canada in the 70s,
resulting in a big clean-up bill.
