It is huge, really huge, bigger than Gunner's shop, I mean massive big
cube of a building.

This morning the parking lot is empty and there is an "available" sign
giving a real estate broker name and number.

The neocons and Bush apologists will call you a liar if you say Contrywide
went "belly-up."  No matter that they were days away from bankruptcy when
BofA bought them for pennies on the dollar.

There are persistent reports that YOU bought them - a little deal of
some sort between the FED (that would be you and your wallet) and BofA
to save the public trauma, i.e., BofA was paid to buy them.  There are
also repeated suggestions that the deal may fall through because the
losses are bigger and longer than BofA anticipated.

It's not a done deal as of yet.

I did take my mortgage away from CW in October.  You don't think
that's what did it do you?  ;>}

Yeah, that Bush economy is really ticking, isn't it?

Osama didn't win, Bush lost.

Osama herded Bush exactly the way he said he would.  And good little
sheeple B danced right into the shearing pens.

You are correct...the deal is not done and it is widely believed that
the losses reported are GROSSLY understated.

I also strongly suspect that money is being paid to BofA to make this
problem go away.

When one considers that less than 30% of the ARMs have yet to reset it
gives one pause to realize how far down we have to go yet.

It's not the fall that kills you...it's the landing.

And let us not forget who is leading the charge....George Bush.

He does have a track record of driving companies into the ground...why
not a country?
