Let's take out ads in major newspapers saying how swell they are, then
will then succeed, and we can be done with this. Heck, Madison Avenue
can solve all the worlds problems. And all this time we said it would
be the Pentagon.

Most of them don't know or care what Ds or any other Americans think.
They are not succeeding - by American standards - because we are
trying to force them to do it our way and that doesn't fit their
culture. Leave them alone and they will work it out on their own
terms.
