The former Yugoslavia was a risk, too. And there was absolutely no

How about you? Mortgaged to the eyeballs? All your income goes to
pay off debt, leaving not a dime for new purchases - unless you
charge them on that nice new credit card that you got because the
others are full?

I pay cash. My house was on a 15 yr note, at 10%. It was paid off 5
yrs ago.

I dont own a credit card. Last one I owned was in 1992.

Cash is king.

Gunner

Well, at least I have to give you one. You got that right. To bad we
are in the very small minority in this country.

Need I remind everyone once again that gunner says that he can't
afford health insurance and was had to work out a deal to pay his
hospital bills that the hospital was not happy with. If cash is king,
he either has very little or he screwed the pooch with the hospital.

Yet Gunner claims the Bush economy is peachy. Unable to earn enough
to pay for insurance / health care, yet our economy is zipping right
along.

Oh, and there's a huge difference between 'not owning' a credit card
vs. the ability to obtain one.
