I have a great lack in my 'arsenal' (that means anything more than 1

I want to buy a .22LR handgun. What's a good make/model?
I prefer an evil semi-auto to a revolver. Feel? I have a Ruger
Single Six, don't like the feel. My favorite is a 1911-A1 if that
give you an idea what my hand likes.
Criteria rated more of less from most important to least important are
- reliability, accuracy, availability of repair/maintenance parts,
high capacity, size and weight that it's pleasant to carry all day,
not fussy about load, price.
Thanks, sorry to be off topic.
I own a Ruger Mark II as well as a single six.
The Mark II is truly great.
The only problem I found with mine is that it did not like my
Winchester Wildcat rounds that I like for my rifle, but does like the
Rimington Golden Bullet Bonus Pack that Walmart sells cheep, so I just
stock it that round for it.
My rifle will shoot anything, so eh, no big deal there.
It shoots great, and has proven in other peoples hands to be as
accurate as my rifle.
And I commonly take squirrel with head shots from anywhere I can
actually see one with my rifle.
You mentioned that you liked the 1911, have you looked at the 22 lr
conversions for it?
Ruger makes a .22 with the same grip angle and general "feel" as a 1911.
