The producer wants to "test all its beef" at the expense of the USDA,
nothing more. If they, as a private company, want to test their beef
for little green men from Mars, they have all the right in the world
to do so....and the USDA's response said as much. They want the fed
gov to foot the bill, though.

It's no less a load of bullshit than trying to force the fed gov to
provide lead testing kits so you can check each and every gallon of
gas that you pump into your vehicle. *YOU* can pay for whatever tests
*YOU* want....just don't expect *ME* to pay for it.
