I personally suspect this is more of an issue of Cultural Diversity,
rather than racial.
If you look at organizations that force cultural sameness..race pretty
much means nothing.
The issue in the US..is various racial groups strive to maintain their
own "identity", and as such..often clash with the mainstream
culture(s) around them.
This can be demonstrated by a westerner visiting New York City for
example..the typical Cowboy in NYC or Boston. Serious clashes often
arise..even though the racial component is the same.
The cultures are vastly different.

"Pax Americana is a philosophy. Hardly an empire.
Making sure other people play nice and dont kill each other (and us)
off in job lots is hardly empire building, particularly when you give
them self determination under "play nice" rules.
Think of it as having your older brother knock the *** out of you
for torturing the cat." Gunner
