occasion, that it took Bill Clinton to elect goober bush.
Lieberman isn't electable regardless his opponent. He'll be in the
Senate until he retires from politics.
Id have voted in a heart beat for Lieberman. This coming from an
ardent Reagan Conservative btw. It took Bubba Clinton to set the
stage..and when the house lights went up..with Algor/Kerry/BreckBoy
standing there at the fore...eveyone looked at each other.. and in
unison said NO Encore!..and ran for the lobby.
What your creative retelling omits is that Bush won by the skin of his teeth
in two elections Gunner.
There was absolutely no unified response from the electorate either in favor
of Bush in either election. Have a look back to the Nixon years to see what
that looks like. In fact, absent the courts and electoral college goober
would have been sent packing both times. Kerry was just a poor candidate but
Lieberman would have needed to split the Republican vote and he would not
have been able to do so. Just the opposite. Karl Rove and his crew would
have rolled out an attack on Lieberman as a New York Jew and you know it.
He'd have gone down in flames as the result of the well organized anti
Semitic smear campaign that would have been organized. The Swift Boater's
would have had a field day. Gore would have been better off had he put
Hillary on the ticket. LOL
She would have turned out more of the Dem base and Bush would have been
handed the ultimate insult. He's have been beaten by a girl.
