My Aerostar cost me $129,000 (actually it cost the US tax payer that, as I write off most of the cost of operation, which also includes prorated purchase price, and depreciation) off my taxable income.
I have put about $50,000 in it with avionics upgrades, aircraft upgrades, and repairs. Then I got a low interest Government farm loan to build a farm equipment storage shed (aircraft hanger) and lighted landing strip at the ranch. But it raised my property taxes which I can deduct from my federal taxable income so that covered the cost of the low interest government loan. Then I get a tax credit from the state and the county because my airstrip is an auxiliary airstrip for general aviation and an emergency airstrip for aircraft in trouble. (Why any one would want to land way out here is beyond me)
So I get to fly all around the United States and Canada on *YOUR DOLLAR*.

Censorship and Gun Control are the political equivalent of binding and
gagging a victim before raping and mugging them.
Such acts are carried out by the same thugs, one with a law degree from
a state pen, the other a law degree from a university for the same sick
perverted purposes which are to remove you from your property, liberty
and dignity, and bend you to will of others.
