This is a joke right ?
Obviously. Exotics are the second biggest threat to native species.
That snake (alien import) has already wiped out several native
Hawaiian
species.
Yeh. I was on Guam. No birds. I get it.
Yes to echo "Guy's" sentiment.....what exactly do you alarmist want
from us ?
Nothing.
You know at some point you'll have to move past the rant stage and lay
out
a clear, rational plan.
I have no rant.
But history suggest you CAN'T do that.
You Liberals are ranters and that's it.
A plan?
The first thing is to reduce all forms of energy consumption, i.e.,
conservation. Mandate energency effiency for appliances, automobiles
like we used to have. Close all "drive-thru" windows.
Then have regional planning commissions develop more compact cities so
that mass transportation can work. Walking and bicycling are healthy
and cheap and should be built into the transportation plan, not just as
"greenspace."
Do you have anything substantive to ad?
These sorts of ideas pop up regularly in the Northeast and the far
west - where everyone lives in each others pockets and sees it as
normal.
It looks a little different if you live in Texas and it takes two days
to drive across the state.
I don't happen to want to live in the inner city in an apartment.
Learn to cope. But feel free to follow your own advice.
