Might be time to return to the Articles of Confederation, or some

As for Gutierrez, I grew up in Arlington, TX and attended the
university there. I was shocked to read about his statement and hope
that the university will send him packing. However, it hasn't made
the local news (big surprise). My wife and I are wondering what will
happen on Cinco de Mayo (Mexican independence day)

Cinco de Mayo isn't Mexican Independence Day. It's a remembrance of a
battle fought (and won) primarily against the French long after
independence.

Lo siento mucho. I forgot about Maximilian... You're right. It's
diez y seis de Septiembre.
