Err, isn't that like gunner';s belief that because he has land in the
country, it doesn't matter that he spends most of the week in the cityy
working at his job {:-).
I seldom work anywhere close to a possible Ground Zero..and
usually...25-50 miles away from downtown LA.
GZ for a truck bomb, or piloted missle, that's okay.
But I "worry" about ballistic weapons and their Circle of Error
Probability (the area wherein 50% of the shots will fall) and the
cumulative drift of the impact point from aim point. It's the same as
having a rifle which will give you a one inch MOA grouping, but always up
and left. Save that it cane be really big.
Wht that means is that a "near miss" from an ICBM, depending on the
technology, can be up to ten from the aiming stake.
On the third hand ... I don't worry about it much. I figure that
Liberal Land is probably the safer place to be, they're actively working to
support those who would fire a nuke at the US. Why target your "friends"?
Take a REALLY big nuke
to do more that ruffle my hair at that range. And when I see this
really bright flash out in the distance and a rising mushroom
cloud..Im in the truck..and taking the back routes out of Dodge moy
pronto.
Plan A. Plan B through F while you are at it. :-)
