Nazi Germany and the US?

Since WW2 the US has had an unenviable record of invading countries
which posed no threat to themselves whatsoever, and in the process
killing millions of people, and spending billions of tax dollars, all
of these attacks being for no purpose other than the furthurance of
their own political and economic aims.

Looking at this objectively away from the ridiculous nonsense
propounded by the corpoarate media (and the dumbed down versions of
this, propagated by the likes of gummer, strider, tamper etc etc), it
seems to me that to all intents and purposes the US has a great deal in
common with Nazi Germany!

If I am wrong in this then I would be interested to see some evidence
that suggests any of those attacked by the US since WW2 posed any sort
of immediate threat to them, which would allow acts of aggression that
could be justified under international law (which was introduced to
deter any furure Hitlers!).
