Its actualy a good idea , even for contaminated land that can no longer be cropped for food or fodder . Cars are not going to complain about rsidual cancer causing chemicals , and it may get enough of the crap out of the ground to allow it to be used again ... after a few years or so .
Works for me. I wonder how much biomass could be grown in the 9th Ward of New Orleans? Rich Mississippi river bottom soil, easily irrigated, in a warm, wet southern climate, already equipped with a canal system for cheap transportation, conveniently close to a major chemical production and refining complex.......
