You know, the *wild card* in this is Pakistan, IMO. They have divided
loyalties, and might feel compelled to join into the foray. That
would give India the chance it has been waiting for ( they are mortal
enemies with Pakistan ), and things could get rolling from there. In
which case, Syria might feel compelled to become involved in some way,
and then whomever else has a *grudge* south of the equator.
NORTH of the equator, blissful Peace will prevail. Germany, Korea,
China, Russia, USA, England, France, will just turn on the VCR to
record this slugfest south of Zero degrees longitude. What we refer
to as the Mideast, INCLUDING Israel of course, will become quite a
mess I am predicting. Of course, I have been wrong about these things
before, but my errors are mostly in reference to WHEN not IF.
I predicted a _divided_ Jerusalem. Years ago. I was scoffed at.
Because neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians will settle for
that; they each want the entire pie for themselves. Well...time
changes things a little bit. They might cut the baby in two, and hand
1/2 to the pallies, and 1/2 to Israel, before or after the mushroom
clouds dissipate.
My guess is nuclear will be used on the underground facilities I have
posted links to, because there is nothing we have in the way of
conventional bunker busters that can go that deep through that much
reinforced concrete, and have enough *guts* left over to incinerate
the large complexes. Tactical Nuclear Weapons at first. Maybe
followed by Strategic Nuclear Weapons shortly thereafter...measure
either in minutes, hours, or days.
My Strategy is to make the first strike count, because whomever throws
the first punch may not get a chance to throw a second one.
