If a newbie wanted info..he wouild be unindated with it. But no one asks. This means to me..that currently there is little or no outside interest in the subject.
Someone wants to check us out and goes to Google. What does he see? Lots of information on something useful?
When I first came by here , there was some useful stuff , and ernie chucking a wobbly over some discussion over a altoid tin kit , cos we dont have mintys in tins in AU but we got bandaids in tins instead ....
some guy was talking of a pencase kit and stuff too , it looked interesting . Nothing much I didnt know , but an amusing lok at things thru american eyes .
Nope. He sees a bunch of *** posts.
Well yeah ...
As far as he can tell, we are just another news group destroyed by trolls. There are plenty of them around, or the sorry carcasses of them.
So, he goes away, looking for information elsewhere.
Halcitron used to be on the ball with his posts , artiles off all kinds kinda related an of interest to survivalists , Stormin Mormon makes a fair effort to keep things more or less on track by reposting and posting stuff too , there is usualy enough to make it worth stopping by for a while , until the americans get out of hand with their political pissing contests and rivel ...
Id kinda thought that anyone with a survivalist inclination would have realised that politicians are simply leeches with their own interests at heart . Their priorities over and above the good of the citizen etc etc .. But no , some of the guys with valuable insight and info are some of the most blinded of sheeple and avid devotees of The Great Honourable Bush , and others ofthat ilk .
I reckon that when someone breezes through , if they are serious , they will stop around a bit and sift thru the *** looking for the good stuff , if they are not serious , they will breeze on by and stop at some survivalist info despensery that also sells the best most recomended premade kits etc there is in the world right now , and does everything for them . But so be it .
