Glad you feel that way.
Now that you have vented your spleen.....
Think it through.
You see a manbeating the crap out of a woman.
You, being a caring good guy decide to intervine.
After you pull the SOB away from the woman, there is a dull
pain in the back of your head.
You wake up in hospital with a concussion.

It seams the lady got very upset that YOU accosted her "man".
And hit you in the back of the head with a half a brick found on the
pathway.
Guess who gets to explain to the DA why you got envolved.

A friend of mine had this happen and was very lucky to not get
prosecuted.

Or let's say you stop a "kidnapping", only to find out the kidnaper was
the
custodial parent. It happened here in Lexington about 10 years ago.

They prosecuted the "hero" and he got 5 years in the pen.

Unless you have the spare time and money to go to court, it is silly
to lay it all on the line for a society that has gone nuts. If I see
something
"bad" happening" I call 911. Report it and on 2 occasions I have
followed
from a safe, discrete distance. And whne the poepl who are paied,
and enjoy some legal protection arrive I let them handle it.

Do I like it?

Not at all.

In Kentucky "Brandishing" a weapon is defined as openly displaying a
deadly
weapon when there are more then three people present. It is a felony.
and the
local LEOs and DA love to prosecute.

I look forward to reading of your heroic efforts, I only hope the legal
system doesn'
burn you on the alter of justice.

Terry
