Some people are always looking for the hardest, most
pointless ways to do fairly simple things. Example - learn
how to make a bow and arrows, because you might not have a
..22 rifle. I've never understood why I'm more likely to
lose my .22 rifle than I am to lose my bow and arrows. Or
you might run out of ammo. I can buy THOUSANDS of rounds of
..22 ammo for practically nothing. I'm much less likely to
run out of .22 ammo than I am to run out of arrows. I
suspect this is an excuse to learn to make bows and arrows,
not an actual need to make bows and arrows. Pure atavism,
IMHO.
